Testimonials

I was fit with my new hearing aids three weeks ago. My five-year-old grandson Ryan, who was hard for me to understand, said something very special to me. He said 'Grandma, I love you more.' Then I asked why do you love me more. He said 'because you can hear me now.' It's been such an awesome pleasure to just be able to hear people the first time. I can go to functions now and participate in church, all these things I withdrew from. My audiologist, Pam Oliver, at Ashland ENT was very thorough and really took care of me well. I am very pleased. My new hearing aids are very comfortable and practically invisible. It's been a wonderful experience.

Hello. I just wanted to say how pleased I am with your office. The office was very inviting and accommodating for children. (I had to bring my one year old with me to the appointment). The staff was very friendly, especially the Nurse Practitioner Mr. Neel and Dr. Stein. Mr. Neel spoke to my son in a friendly manner and was very respectful. Dr. Stein explained things in terms that were easy to understand and was very thorough. In addition, I had a question about something Dr. Stein mentioned in the appointment. I found his e-mail address on your web site and contacted him. He responded to my question first thing this morning. This is exceptional. I wish more practices would be like yours. My family will absolutely call again, should a need arise. Thank you!

I suffered with chronic sinusitis for years. As a result, I experienced chronic headaches, fatigue and sinus infections for years as well. After trying treatment with medications for many years, Dr. Stein recommended sinus balloonplasty. I had the surgery in December 2011 and cannot believe the difference it has made in my life! I have had immediate relief from headaches and now have more energy because I can breathe better and no longer have chronic sinus pressure.

Dr. Stein and his staff were absolutely WONDERFUL. Their kind, compassionate care during the procedure made the whole experience more pleasant and I am so appreciative of having my life back! Thank you Dr. Stein!!

I have suffered with sinus problems for as long as I can remember. Nighttime stuffiness was constant and became a “normal” part of my falling-asleep pattern of tossing from side to side, trying to breathe from one side of my nose and then the other. Blowing my nose was not usually productive and many times caused the stuffiness to feel even worse. I used nasal sprays from time to time to try and clear up the congestion, but knowing the dependency issues with the sprays, I would not use them for more than a couple of days at a time.

For the last few years post nasal drip has also become a daily annoyance combined with the constant congestion. I have allergies and have been getting injections for a number of years, but I have never been symptom free.

During a recent allergy checkup, Dr. Stein asked if I had ever considered surgery to open up the sinuses. I considered the procedure when I learned it was a covered procedure in the office setting.

I had the surgery in December, 2011 in Dr. Stein’s office. The procedure was no more difficult for me than having a dental procedure. I was in and out of the office in less than a couple of hours and was able to stop by a local pharmacy to do some shopping afterward. I could have easily gone to work the next morning, but it was the weekend. I was perfectly fine by Monday and no one in the office could even tell that I had surgery the Friday before.

I can honestly say that for the first time that I can recall, I have been able to sleep without tossing from side to side to try to clear congestion. The post nasal drip issues have also dramatically improved and blowing my nose is actually productive. Considering the noninvasive nature of this surgical procedure, I can’t imagine why anyone would suffer one more day with sinus symptoms that could be alleviated by Balloon Sinuplasty!

I have tinnitus and read where steroid injections might help. Other ENTs wouldn't even try....Dr. Stein is easy to talk to and he did at least try injections.

Traci Seibert

I had Sudden Sensory Hearing Loss. Other doctors told me it was allergies which only delayed treatment! Dr Stein knew immediately and did a hearing test and started treatment! Thank you!!
